This Yoga & Meditative Painting Workshop will take place on Saturday, May 21, 2022, from 11:00 am-1:00 pm PST.
Join Registered Yoga Teacher Kimberlee Wambua for an afternoon to connect with nature and learn how to use your breath to let go of expectations on yourself, and let the stress of everyday life melt away. Spending time in nature has a healing effect on both our physical and mental well-being.
It removes the distractions of our busy lives and returns us to our primal roots in nature. It unites a visual appreciation for the natural world with the awareness of our inner bodies. We explore how yoga and meditation practice by the lake can improve our awareness of ourselves and the world around us.
Meditative Painting is a form of expression that has the power to bring you into the present. It offers a transformative, calming, and deeply relaxing experience. For many, this is also one of the easiest ways to meditate, because you are allowing the "doing" of painting to guide you into the meditative state, rather than sitting still and trying to stop the mind.
No painting experience is required. Simply gather your emotions to release through paint on the canvas. The power of releasing your stress into a physical form and letting go of it can provide amazing results.
Through this Yoga, meditation & Meditative Painting by the lake, you will leave Relaxed, Renewed, & Refreshed.
All Painting Supplies and Journal Materials will be provided.
